From 1922-38, the McCormick Family lived at the Grand Traverse Lighthouse.  Keeper Jim’s radio could only pick up a station out of Green Bay, WI.  During football season they listened to the Packers play over the radio and became avid Packer fans, including their middle son Doug, who just loved Brett Favre.  However, their youngest child, Grace, was a passionate Lions fans until her last days.  So, at Grand Traverse Lighthouse we are both Packer fans and Lions fans during football season!
