Located at the tip of the Leelanau Peninsula, the Grand Traverse Lighthouse stand majestic, guiding ships safely through the Manitou Passage.  It was constructed in 1858.  Today the lighthouse is open to the public who can tour the restored keepers apartment and climb the tower for a fantastic view of Lake Michigan.
